We also tested with Ext3.2 and it also didn't work for us.

I also tested the simplified application above and that didn't work as well.

    Thank you.

Bringing this post up. We're still having problems with this setup and we can't seem to find any reliable workarounds.

I am also having a similar issue with IE7 and Ext being used in an iframe. I can't be specific but another company is embedding our application which works fine in IE7 on its own. I have not been able to find a work around for Ext version 3.0.3.

We are also experiencing similar problems, is there any action happening here? Can the dev team confirm that this is an issue, and that something will/is being done about it?

Is this just happening with sharepoint?

Can you provide a test case for your issue skau.

Hi, I'm working with skau and we've come up with this example:

http://wendt.se/software/extjs/3.2.1/iframe-issue.html <- this works as normal, and does not execute the Ext.QuickTips code block. Clicking the "click me" button shows a javascript alert.

http://wendt.se/software/extjs/3.2.1...ssue.html?true <- this demonstrates the bug - clicking the "Click me" button does not invoke the handler - there's no javascript alert dialog.

PS. This bug doesn't happen with Ext 2.3.0. DS
PPS. If you load the same IFRAME content file directly (not in an IFRAME), it all runs as expected. (Both http://wendt.se/software/extjs/3.2.1...e-content.html and http://wendt.se/software/extjs/3.2.1...tent.html?true work in IE)
So our bug has to do with QuickTips and IFRAME. DS

    Hi Jamie,

Is there any feedback you might have for us?

We're looking at it, the test cases should help a lot.
