Thread: DataProxy Event Handler / Listener

Default DataProxy Event Handler / Listener

    Hi,

I am trying to call a custom function when the script calls my DataProxy URL, I added store.on('load', function()) and store.on('update', function()), couldn't find anything related to adding or deleting a record.

On which level it is recommended to add a new Listener? should I do this to the proxy or the store or maybe grid? what standard events do store, grid or proxy have? is it just DOM events or do they have special events related to their functionality?

    Too many questions.

    Thanks

    hi bh129,

    look into the api, like
    http://www.extjs.com/deploy/ext-3.1....Ext.data.Store

for the store. scroll down and at the end of the page you will find a section called "events", where all available by default - events are listed. store for example has

    Code:
add : ( Store this, Ext.data.Record[] records, Number index )
Fires when Records have been added to the Store

    kind regards,
    tobiu
