    Default TreePanel || Grid || DataView

    TreePanel || Grid || DataView

    Hi guys,

    I am just playing a bit with Ext and want to do following:

    I want to show some feeds in a panel. Each feed can have multiple
    sub-feeds as children. These sub-feeds differ in function and
    optics. The panel should be switchable show/hide the sub-feeds.

    My question: What would you suggest for realisation? I am familiar
    with the Ext.DataView but therefore I would have to choose two
    different XTemplates for the DataView.

    As I can see, there is no standard-way to use custom templates in
    Ext.tree.TreePanel?

    Maybe someone could push me to the right direction ...

    Many thanks and best regards

    TreePanel does support custom uiProviders (see the column tree example on how to use a uiProvider).

    The example doesn't demonstrate this, but you can actually use different uiProviders in a single tree (selectable for each node).
