Default [FIXED][3.0.0][IE8] Ext.ux.Portal weird drop event behavior in IE8

    Ext version tested:
    • Ext 3.0.0

    Browser versions tested against:
    • IE8

    Operating System:
    • WinXP Pro

    Description:

When using Ext.ux.Portal in IE8, drag-dropping a portlet always swap portlets around even if the placeholder for the portlet that is being dragged does not moved from the portlet's original location.

    Test Case:
    http://extjs.com/deploy/dev/examples/portal/portal.html

    Steps to reproduce the problem:
    • Drag 'Panel 2' or 'Panel 3' just a view pixels from its original location, making sure the placeholder (dashed box) does not move from there.
    • Drop the portlet.

    The result that was expected:
    • The portlet returns to its original location

    The result that occurs instead:
    • The dragged portlet changes location, more specifically it swaps places with the portlet that was below it

    Extra note:
    • Strangely the 'Grid in a Portlet' one does not show this weird behavior.

I can confirm this in IE8 - very strange behaviour.

A fix for this has been committed to SVN, it affected all versions of IE.
