    Try to change the hello.html from dialog examples as follows. You have to set also autoTabs:false in hello.js.
    HTML Code:
        <!-- The dialog is created from existing markup.
             The inline styles just hide it until it created and should be in a stylesheet -->
        <div id="hello-dlg" style="visibility:hidden;position:absolute;top:0px;">
        <div class="x-dlg-hd">Hello Dialog</div>
        <div class="x-dlg-bd">
            <!-- Auto create tab 1 -->
            <div class="x-dlg-tab" title="Hello World 1">
                <!-- Nested "inner-tab" to safely add padding -->
                <div class="inner-tab">
                     Hello...<br><br><br>
                </div>
            </div>
            <!-- Auto create tab 2 -->
    <!--
            <div class="x-dlg-tab" title="Hello World 2">
                <div class="inner-tab">
                ... World!
                </div>
            </div>
    -->
            </div>
        </div>
    </div>
    </body>
    </html>

    Ok, Now I have this:
    HTML Code:
    <div id="photo-dialog" style="visibility:hidden;position:absolute;top:0px;">
    	<div class="x-dlg-hd">File Upload</div>
    		<div class="x-dlg-bd" >
    			<div class="x-dlg-tab" title="Photo Uploading" style="padding-top:2px">
    				<div class="inner-tab">
    					 <div id="upload-box" ></div>
    				</div>
    			</div>
    		</div>
    	</div>
    </div>
    And this:
    Code:
    dialogUpload = new Ext.BasicDialog("photo-dialog", {
    		autoTabs:false,
    		width:460,
    		height:330,
    		shadow:true,
    		minWidth:300,
    		minHeight:250,
    		proxyDrag: true

    I don't have an off-hand answer like "Do this..." Generally, always when you want to change/adjust look of something, you have to explore rendered html to find out what is there and what classes it has. Then you adjust classes and/or html markup.
