    Default "Adding an HTML link within the Grid" in Ext-JS.

    Pl let me know how to add link to the grid at runtime. Ex. Show Details link in the gris to show details of an employee. The href of the link is set at runtime.

    This is your another post having the pattern of: "I need this, you give me code". Here it works this way: "This is my code and I want to ask this one thing."

    Post please your code.

    Try this as a column definition:

    PHP Code:
        {

    header:"Test name",

    dataIndex:"test_name",

    hidden:false,

    renderer:renderTestName

    },
    and then this as the thing that makes a link in the html:
    PHP Code:
        function renderTestName(valueprecord) {
            return
    String.format(

    '<a href="{0}">{0}</a>'value

    );
        }
