    Default Filtering a single Store for Multiple Comboboxes

    Hi,

    I have a single SimpleStore that I want to use to populate multiple comboboxes. The data in the store have Id, Unit, and Kind fields. Each combobox should display only a subset of the data based on the Kind field. My problem is that I cannot get the SimpleStore.filter() or SimpleStore.filterBy() routines to work as each combobox contains the full list from Ext.UnitsData.Units and not the required subset. Any help would be appreciated.

    JS:

    [CODE]Ext.namespace('Ext.UnitsData');

    Ext.UnitsData.Units = [
    // Viscosity
    [0, 'cSt', 4],
    [1, 'SSU', 4],
    [2, 'mm

    The combo doesn't support rebuilding the display when the store is filtered. You could try to extend the class to add the ability to rebuild the combo.view property when the store's datachanged event fires.

    Good idea! Have you managed to get it working?

    Thanks
