Thread: ext dialog with just standard html form inside?

  1. #1

    Default ext dialog with just standard html form inside?

    i am using JSF/Ajax4JSF server side tags for all my form fields and buttons.

    the question is how can i take the form and stick it inside an ext dialog?

    so far i've tried just surrounding all my server side tags with a <div id="my-dlg"> but when i render the dialog its blank and none of my fields/buttons show up

    any ideas?

    write your form into the dialog's body element:

    Code:
    // create your dialog
    var foolog = new Ext{...};
    foolog.body.update("<form>foo</form>");

    it's incredibly easy, put it in the body

    PHP Code:
    <div id="myDialog" style="visibility:hidden;position:absolute;top:0px;">
        <
    div class="x-dlg-hd">Dialog Header</div>
        <
    div class="x-dlg-bd" id="myDialogBody">
            <
    form action="myHtml.html">
                <
    input type="text" value="Input here"></input>
                <
    input type="text" value="Input here"></input>
                <
    input type="text" value="Input here"></input>
            </
    form>

        </
    div>
    </
    div
    [/php]
