    Unfortunately all the solutions pasted in this thread fails (graphically) when used on the footer of a window in all versions of IE. The footer gets wider than the window (see attached picture). I tried a billion different ways, even tweaking the width of the "filler", which made it look ok all untill the text between the left and right arrow got wider....

    Bottom line is that you can get this to work in IE as long as you don't try to further hack the footer.

    I wish I could do this particular project in Ext3

    I did so in a dockedItems, not hurt to try:

    Code:
    {
        xtype: 'button',
        name: 'buttonLeft'
    },
    {
        xtype: 'tbspacer',
        border: 0,
        flex: 1
    },
    {
        xtype: 'button',
        name: 'buttonRight'
    }

                			text: 'Right Button',
                			handler: this.doOtherStuff,
                			scope: this
                		}
                		]

    Doesn't work for me. It switches the left button and the right buttons, no space coming in between.

    Code:
    {
        xtype: 'tbspacer',
        border: 0,
        flex: 1
    }
    is also not working
