Default Answered: Use of async / await

Hi, I have just started to look at promises and async / await as a way to simplify code that contains a lot of callbacks at present.
I'm on slightly old software; SA is 4.2.5.420 and Cmd 6.7.0.63 and it seems that SA does not support async / await very well. The editor shows syntax errors although the code does compile and run. The code that is produced does not look as clean as it should be in the Chrome debugger but it does run properly. For example the code contains calls to functions like this $jscomp.asyncExecutePromiseGeneratorProgram whereas if I compile a small non Sencha project using the latest phonegap, those functions do not appear and the code looks the same as it was written.

My questions are, is there a newer version of SA that I could upgrade to that supports async / await in the editor and is there a newer version of cmd that produces code without function calls like above. It is a crucial time in the project so I only want to upgrade if I need to. While what I have now does work, I may miss real errors in the source code and my code may not be running as efficiently as it should.

    Thank you
    John.
