[4.2.4.389] Don't allow chained treestores
Tree stores don't work. So it would be prudent to not allow a chained store to be put on a treestore.
Personally I think rather than just not allowing it, I'd put an alert/toast saying that treestores can't have them. This will also save a tonne of frustration and and hours of debug chasing why it isn't working.

Thank you so much for your post. I apologize for the delay. I have shared this with the support staff to look into at their earliest convenience. Your patience is greatly appreciated! We do suggest using the support portal when you need assistance with a capability of a Sencha product, you have identified a situation where a products behavior is inconsistent with the product documentation and might indicate a software bug, or when the communication between you and Sencha needs to be private.
Thanks again,
Michele

The OP suggested not being able drop a chained store on a treestore... that has nothing to do with your answer, which if anything should be deleted so people don't get even more confused...
