Default Grid layout issue when grid having parent header and client filter item

    Hi Support,

Platform: Ext JS 6.5.3 AND 4.2.1
    Browser: X- browser issue

    Issue description:
Grid layout issue when grid having parent header and client filter item.

    Step to reproduce:
    1. Open below fiddle

    https://fiddle.sencha.com/#view/editor&fiddle/2ee9

    2. UNCHECK a Parent header from column header menu

    3. Now CHECK it.

    4. Summary grid layout issue got worse and child column are not coming up in grid as shown in screenshot attached.

    Screenshot for Version 4.2.1

    Screenshot for Version 6.5.1

    Ext 6.5.png

Expected Behavior: Child column and its client filter should show fine once parent header is checked fro menu items.

Note: There is no issue at all when I remove client text fields filter from columns

I am using 4.2.1 in my application,It will be great if anyone provide a workaround for this.

    Thanks

Dear, homework is needed before giving the conclusion. I already mentioned that it can be reproduced in Platform 6.5.3 AND 4.2.1 too.

one can easily reproduce it in latest version also:

    https://examples.sencha.com/extjs/6....#big-data-grid

    Steps:
    1. Move the "Absences" column under locked grid.
    2. Move "Name (Filter)" column under "Absences" column.
    3. Hide "Absences" column.
    4. Open menu again and go to "Absences", all child column should be UNCHECKED because parent column is unchecked. [but All child column menu item are checked which is WRONG]
    5. Check "Absences" column. This should should show all four child column in grid but Layout is weird that I reported.

    See attached screenshot 1.png, 2.png and 3.png

This is definitely an issue from 4.2.1 to latest version.

Hope screenshot are enough to declare it as valid issue.

    Thanks
