    Default [Modern] Menu references are not available

    Run the attached test case against 6.5.2:



    If you look at the console, it's not able to resolve the reference to the menu or the menu item.

    If you switch to the classic toolkit you'll see it does resolve the menu and the menu item correctly.

    The lookups are working, when you clicked the button. Without activating the menu, it is not existing.

    Yes, but you shouldn't need to. In classic it gets the references without needing to click the button. References don't depend on the "rendered"state.
