Can not install sencha command 6.5.2.15 64 bits for windows no JRE found
Hi,
I can not install the latest sencha command, it can not find an JRE environment and when I point to an JRE directory it gives me an error that the JVM found is damaged. What's wrong?
Thanks,
Rob

I diffed the two executables, the 32-bit and the 64-bit. There were no differences. I think both downloads are the 32-bit. I'm surprised that this hasn't been corrected by now.

Yeah, just stumbled upon this issue.
It wants the 32 bit version of the JRE, so the release has either been misnamed, or not updated as it should (to require the 64bit JRE)...
Any devs left to fix I wonder?

Hi!
You can download Sencha Cmd JRE versions from download page
https://www.sencha.com/products/extjs/cmd-download/
We will also update support portal to add JRE version. Thx!

/sigh
We need the 64bit version of Cmd without the JRE, that actually references the 64bit version of the JRE.
There is a version of it in the support portal, but it references the 32bit JRE.
We have a 32bit version, both with and without the JRE buncled.
We have a 64bit version with the JRE bundled.
We do not have a 64bit version without the JRE bundled.
Cheers

Hi!
I opened the report for your issue, but like to know what issue are you getting when using following non-JRE version for windows?
http://cdn.sencha.com/cmd/6.5.2/no-j...ows-no_jre.zip
Thx!

No issue with that one, that I'm aware of, although I do not have a 32bit JRE installed to get further in the install.
This one here, from the support portal, says it's for 64 bit but when you run the installer it prompts for the location of the 32 bit JRE.
If you pick the 64bit version it errors...
