Default Compiling Ext Theme without Sencha CMD

Is it possible to build the SASS files that make up the Ext Theme without using the Sencha CMD tool?

If so what options are available?

Possible is the tough word. You could point to theme file but then you are loading sass for ALL the framework. If you changed anything you'd have to manually add that as well. The Cmd tool removes all class files and styling not used in your app and minimizes the code. You'd lose all that. Is there a reason that you can't build it for the optimized files?
