    Default Google Chromebook Mouse Events

    One of our customer is accessing our web applications (built on extjs 5.1) using Google Chromebook.
    His chromebook was not registering any click event and we have resolved by following the fix given in this link.

    https://www.sencha.com/forum/showthr...egister-clicks

    However after this still he has certain mouse issues

    1.On mouse over we are displaying extjs tool tip.It takes long time to disappear and during that time the entire browser is freezed and not able to perform any operation

    2.Mouse scroll is not working in the grid panel. It has to be scrolled only on click not by mouse scroll.

    Is these are known issues in ExtJs 5.1 and Google Chromebook ?
    Anyone have faced similar issues or any help would be really appreciated.

    There are some tickets reporting issues with the Chromebook. To try to narrow it down.

    1) Tool tip
    Have you tried setting a hideDelay value? Are you seeing the same issue with Toast?
    2) Scroll
    Do you mean that the scroll wheel is not being used?

    I'll see if I can track anything down for you.

    Thanks Kevin for your reply !

    Here are my replies to the questions that you have asked.

    Q1 ) Tool tip
    Have you tried setting a hideDelay value? Are you seeing the same issue with Toast?
    A : We are using default value. We have not made any changes. The default value in ExtJS 5.1 is 200ms
    We are not using Toast class . So not tested in that. Infact i am not sure if this is availabled in 5.1

    Q2) Scroll
    Do you mean that the scroll wheel is not being used?

    A : When the mouse is over the grid panel and then if we scroll ideally the scroll bar would move. But in chromebook it is not happening.

    Default Fix for scroll bar visibilty in chrome os

    we have solved it by enabling touchscroll for chrome os in Ext.feature class.

    Code:

     name: 'touchScroll',
     fn: function() {
                var supports = Ext.supports,
                    touchScroll = 0;

                if (navigator.msMaxTouchPoints ||
                        (Ext.isWebKit && supports.TouchEvents && (Ext.os.is.Desktop  || Ext.os.name === 'ChromeOS'))) {
                    touchScroll = 1;
                } else if (supports.Touch) {
                    touchScroll = 2;
                }
                return touchScroll;
            }
