    Default Calendar component: splitter between allday and normal events

    Hi,

    we have a lot of allday events. Is there a possibility in the dayview (xtype: calendar-day/s) to insert a splitter between the allday and normal events with timerange.
    As it is now, the list of allday events fills the whole calendar view, while the other events and the corresponding time-gutter are not visible.
    I wonder if this aspect really has not been thought of while designing the calendar component. Any ideas?

    Cheers,
    majico

    Currently we don't have anything to do that, I'd be interested to hear your suggestions. I'm not so sure about a splitter, but maybe some way to configure a max size/events for the all day portion.

    As of now, we've added some CSS to limit the all day area to 150px:
    Code:
    div.x-calendar-days-header-wrap {
        border-top: 1px solid #ddd;
        display: block;
        min-height: 150px;
        height: 150px;
        max-height: 150px;
        overflow-y: auto;
    }

    div.x-calendar-days-body-row {
        border-top: 1px solid #ddd;
        display: block;
        top: 150px;
        position: absolute;
        height: calc(100% - 150px);
    }

    div.x-calendar-days-body-cell.x-scroller {
        display: block;
        height: 100%;
    }

    div.x-calendar-days-body-cell {
        display: block;
        height: 100%;
    }

    .x-calendar-days td.x-calendar-days-header-gutter {
        border-top: none;
    }

    table.x-calendar-days-table.x-calendar-days-allday-events {
        height: auto;
    }

    But still a splitter would be the better solution.
    With the old calendar it was possible to do so:

    So I hope, this will be possible in the future.
