Applying style to filter options

Could you please tell me how can I apply CSS style to my filter option list ?
The list comes from another store dynamically.

As per your example ,if change the type to list its not taking the color. I am bringing a list(of checkboxes) dynamically in to the filter option and with the css I could change the text alignment but not the color.Can you please suggest how could I go with the type: list?

also i want to set the color based on some condition,like the value assigned to that filter option item
