    Default Sencha project in ISO-8859-1 encoding.

    Hallo,

    some of our projects must be encoded in ISO-8859-1 (NOT UNICODE). After building the project some special characters (ÄÖÜ...) are changed, "Löschen" string transformed to ""Lschen" in generated /build/*/production/app.js
    1. All our javascript files are in the ISO-8859-1 (or ISO-8859-15) encoding. Appropriate html meta tag is there.
    2. development version is ok, problem only in production
    3. /build/<APPLICATION_NAME>/app.js has corrupted chars instead of umlauts.
    4. I have turned of the YUI compression but it did not help (production.compressor = null) fragment of app.json
    ...
    "loader": {
    "cache": false,
    "cacheParam": "_dc",
    "charset": "ISO-8859-1"
    },

    "production": {
    "output": {
    "appCache": {
    "enable": true,
    "path": "cache.appcache"
    }
    },
    "loader": {
    "cache": "${build.timestamp}"
    },
    "cache": {
    "enable": true
    },
    "compressor": null
    },
    ...
    setting the YUI compressor "charset" encoding did not help also
    ...
    "production": {
    "output": {
    "appCache": {
    "enable": true,
    "path": "cache.appcache"
    }
    },
    "loader": {
    "cache": "${build.timestamp}"
    },
    "cache": {
    "enable": true
    },
    "compressor": {
    "type": "yui",
    "charset": "ISO-8859-1" // <---- this setting
    }
    },
    ...

    AS FAR AS I UNDERSTAND
    the problem is not in compression but in the sencha cmd mergin issue.
    cmd version and extjs versions are the latest 6.2.0, the same problem was in 6.0.x version.

    So how is it possible to change the encoding of sencha command ?

    Have you attempted setting the encoding directive on the files you need? http://docs.sencha.com/cmd/guides/ad...acter_encoding
