Another rant about binding (I think I'm doing it wrong)

I have this binding in my code

                       
bind: {
  title: '{value}',
  hidden: '{value}' 
},

Guess what? It's not hidden, but title says "true".

PS: I don't expect answer here and I don't think I can make fiddle for that, I'm just collecting things I hate about extjs so I can refer to them just by looking at threads I created.

So the problem was that my elem is a tab item of tabpanel. If I set

{
  hidden: true
}

for it, tab is hidden. When I set

{
  tabConfig: {
    hidden: true
  }
}

for it, tab is also hidden.

But to hide it with binding they only way is to use second variant.

{
  tabConfig: {
    bind: {
      hidden: '{value}'
    }
  }
}

This actually doesn't have anything to do with binding but is an Ext JS bug (EXTJS-13953). If you call the hide method of an item it doesn't hide the tab:
