    Default Answered: Overrrite or extend the existing functionality?

    Hello there,

    How can we Overwrite or Extend the bufferedrenderer plugin and Sorting for gridPanel.
    I want to add some method in it when we do sorting in gridpanel and scroll to view the buffered data in gridpanel.

    I have added the change in ext-all.js but i dont want to add it there now.

    below one i added it in:

    1)
    Code:
    Ext.grid.column.Column
    Code:
      if (me.triStateSort || state != null) {
                    ownerHeaderCt.fireEvent('sortchange', ownerHeaderCt, me, state);
                }
                js.callingMyMethod();

    2) below one i added it in:

    Code:
    Ext.grid.plugin.BufferedRenderer
    Code:
     if (!scrollHandled) {
                if (me.lockingPartner && me.lockingPartner.scrollTop !== scrollTop) {
                    me.lockingPartner.view.el.dom.scrollTop = scrollTop;
                    js.callingMyMethod();
                }
            }

    but i need to use in page wise not want to add in common place.

    hope you understand what i have meant to say.

    Regards
    vik
