    Default Answered: GridFilters Migrating From 4.2 to 6.0 - Filter Param Encoding

    Migrating app from 4.2.x to 6.0.x.

    Have the grid filters converted to the new gridfilters plugin from the old grid filters feature. However, I'm trying to find a way to alter the encoding of the filters.

    With the old feature we set encode=false so the filters would be encoded as such:
    Code:
    filters[0][field]="someDataIndex"&
    filters[0][data][comparison]="someValue1"&
    filters[0][data][type]="someValue2"&
    filters[0][data][value]="someValue3"&
    as that is how the server requires them.

    With the new plugin they get encoded as such:
    Code:
    filters:[{"field":"someDataIndex","comparison":"someValue1","type":"someValue2","value":"someValue3"}]
    Any way to accomplish the encode=false part with the new plugin?

  2. Ok, figured it out. Just have to create your own proxy and override the encodeFilters function.
