Drag and drop fields from panel to panel

Hello,

I have a number of panels, each containing fields (radio buttons, checkboxes, textfields etc). I am trying (and failing) to implement drag and drop of these fields from one panel to another.

I was following this guide but got stuck. Does anyone have an example of such a use case, or can point me in right direction.
