Thread: Sencha Cmd location Option

Question Answered: Sencha Cmd location Option

I've just installed the plugin, one of the first things I've noticed is related to the location of Sencha Cmd. There's a general option for it:

but when you start a project, you're prompted for the location of Cmd:

If the path to Sencha Cmd is set on a per-project basis, why is there a general option for it? If it's set on a global basis, why is there a per-project prompt for it?

  2. Hi Phil. The global option is what is used when invoking "sencha app watch" on your Ext application. It defaults to that for new Ext application generation, but can be changed if for some reason you wanted to use a different Cmd version to create your project with.Chris
