    Default ext Img encoding to base 64

    hey guys;
    I am looking for a way to get the base64 image representation of a loaded ext img...
    it there somethingout of the box? if not, what are my options?

    To my knowledge, the framework does not provide a way out of the box but I would suggest looking for a js solution like the one in this stackoverflow thread.
