    Question Model base class namespacing

The ExtJS 6 data package guide http://docs.sencha.com/extjs/6.0/cor...a_package.html recommends a model base class named 'MyApp.model.Base'.
I was wondering if 'MyApp.data.Model' isn't a better name to only have real model classes in the MyApp.model namespace?

    Isn't MyApp.model.Base a model? It's just a base model.

It is a model base class, not a model class that gets used directly by e.g. a store, just to extend from to have app-wide defaults that are different from the ExtJS ones.
