Thanks for the report. Sounds like this issue:

I see a fix checked in, but it hasn't been merged yet.

Yes, it is same problem. Thanks. Let's wait for fixes in nightly releases.

I tried calling removeAll() before load, and it seems to fix the problem (fiddle: https://fiddle.sencha.com/#fiddle/tvh )
It's solved with 6.0.1, but I hope it will be solved in 5.1 branch too
    Anyone has an override?

This bug is not fixed. I can reproduce it in a nightly builds in 6.x and 5.x versions. You can try too in my old fiddle https://fiddle.sencha.com/#fiddle/rjb

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Open and run a fiddle
    2. Expand Group 1 and Group 2
    3. Press button "Press to reload"
    4. Try to collapse Group 1 and Group 2

I see the issue you describe in 6.0.0, but I don't see it in 6.0.1. Further, a second fix was merged in on 10/6, so this should be all set.

Yes, sorry, I must have been very tired yesterday -- I see it as well (also in 6.0.1). The recent (second) fix I mentioned hasn't been merged yet. I'll check back on this once that happens, and hopefully that resolves it.

Unfortunately this hasn't yet been merged. I've enquired about the delay.
