Thread: Binding of loaded associated store in child session triggers a proxy load

Success! Looks like we've fixed this one. According to our records the fix was applied for EXTJS-18489 in 6.0.1.

Default Binding of loaded associated store in child session triggers a proxy load

    STAND-ALONE TESTCASE
    https://fiddle.sencha.com/#fiddle/pet

    Ext version tested:

    • Ext 5.1.1 rev 451
    Browser versions tested against:
    • Chrome 43
    DOCTYPE tested against:
    • Strict
    Description:
    • Bound associated store is incorrectly loaded by view model in Ext.app.bind.Stub#inspectValue
    Steps to reproduce the problem:
    • load an associated store for a ManyToOne association
    • create a component with a child session and a binding on that store
    • (disable override in fiddle to see the problem)
    The result that was expected:
    • the records for the store are pulled from the parent session and no Ajax call is made
    The result that occurs instead:
    • the records for the store are pulled from the parent session but an Ajax call is made to load the store anyway

Bump. Would like to get confirmation that my override makes sense. Thanks.
