Looks like we can't reproduce the issue or there's a problem in the test case provided.

Default Sencha border layout bug or feature?

    Hallo
    in the following fiddle example

First of all collapse the west panel then expand it by the button and by clicking on the vertical header. Clicking by vertical header is expands the west panel but do not resize the center panel... PLUS the vertical header stays in it's place.
So is it a bug or feature? if it is a feature, where do may we use it?

    Regards
    A.

It's a feature. When you click on the button, you are expanding the panel, but when you click on the panel header, you are floating the panel, which is why it doesn't affect the center region. You can disable floating by setting floatable to false. You can also make the panel header expand the panel by setting titleCollapse to true.

So, it is a feature. Thank you
