Default Answered: Grid cell formatting for numbers

I have a grid which displays numbers. I need to format the cell (e.g.text/ background colour) according to its value. In 5.0, it seems that number/ date columns don't have renderers - only generic string columns do. But if I don't declare as number column, I lose other number-specific functionality e.g. editing, filters. What is the recommended solution? Can I add a renderer to a number column?

  2. The only thing the Number column offers is a renderer. Just use gridcolumn and do your own call to format the number.

It looks like it may be an omission from the docs, but the numbercolumn will still accept a renderer config.

But the Renderer is also missing from the Architect (3.1) number column config, so at the moment I see no way to add it except by hand outside of Architect.
