Default Combo Box list select item with spacebar

In ExtJS 5, it appears combo boxes have changed so that use of the spacebar causes a selection on the first element in a result list.

Using fiddle https://fiddle.sencha.com/#fiddle/9go start typing 'Al' then hit the spacebar and the first item is selected.

Is this expected behaviour? If so how can I disable it.

I don't believe this is expected behavior. I'm going to move this thread to the Bugs forum and file a report.

Just to add to this, it also seems that you typeAhead does not seem to work. In previous versions, if typeAhead was set to true, you could filter out items that did not match what was being typed however in Ext 5.0.1, no matter what is typed, the 1st item is always selected or the item that was last selected using the mouse is always selected (dependent on what the last action was).

My issue is resolved. I had to set the query mode to local on the combo
    i..e.
    Code:
    queryMode:'local'

Hi quophyie, Your right queryMode: 'local' does work. However I'm not in a position to use local querying as I need remote querying.

Hmm, queryMode local doesn't seem to sort the issue for me.
