Thread: Method group() in AbstractStore defined calls method missing isLoadBlocked()

    You found a bug! We've classified it as EXTJS-16439 . We encourage you to continue the discussion and to find an acceptable workaround while we work on a permanent fix.

    Default Method group() in AbstractStore defined calls method missing isLoadBlocked()

    The method group() in AbstractStore relies on a method "isLoadBlocked" that is only defined in ProxyStore, so that it fails when invoking group() programmatically in other types of stores.

    What store are you using? There are only two subclasses of AbstractStore, ProxyStore and ChainedStore and ChainedStore should be configured based on a source store.

    This one is a ChainedStore, and it's indeed configured with a normal source store. So no ProxyStore involved at all, but it still invokes this method in the chained and fails

    I can workaround it with something like, but I assumed this was a bug:

    SomeStore: {
    source: 'SourceStore',
    ...
    isLoadBlocked: function () {
    return false;
    }
    },

    I am having the same issue... I have a chained store with a grouping feature enabled and it attempts to call me.isLoadBlocked which doesn't exist.

    PHP Code:
    Ext.define('MyApp.view.GridPanel', {

    extend'Ext.grid.Panel',

    features: [{

    ftype'grouping',

    id'grouping'

    }],

    columns: [{

    text'Name',

    dataIndex'name',

    flex1

    }],

    initComponent: function() {

    this.store Ext.create('Ext.data.ChainedStore', {

    source'MainStore',

    groupField'status',

    autoDestroytrue

    });

    this.callParent(arguments);
        }
    });

    Same problem here:
    viewModel entry:
    Code:
     stores:{
            Forms: {
                groupField: 'APP',
                sorters: [{
                    property: 'APP',
                    direction: 'ASC'
                }],
                model: 'FormsWB.model.FormsList',
                proxy: {
                    type: 'ajax',
                    url: 'resources/forms.json',
                    reader: {
                        type: 'json',
                        rootProperty: 'formdefinitions'
                    }
                },
                autoLoad: true

            },
            filteredForms: {
                groupField: 'APP',
                source: '{Forms}',

            }
        }
    Patched all the files myself by adding this to Ext.data.AbstractStore.js as well as to ext-all.js and ext-all-rtl-debug.js
    Code:
       //patch code row 806ish
        isLoadBlocked: Ext.emptyFn,

    Default isLoadBlocked() is missed in case of chained store grouping.

    We have encountered similar problem after upgrade Ext JS from 5.0.1.1255 to 5.1.0.107.
    Defining groupField on chained store leads to Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function on call me.isLoadBlocked() in the Ext.data.AbstractStore.group() method.

    Here is fiddle with detailed example:
    https://fiddle.sencha.com/#fiddle/hk5

    There is workaround (override) for this problem in the fiddle:
    Code:
    Ext.define('Ext.overrides.data.AbstractStore', {
        override: 'Ext.data.AbstractStore',
        compatibility: '5.1.0.107',

        isLoadBlocked: Ext.emptyFn,
    });

    Just following up on this. The issue still occurs in 5.1.1.

    This bug still isn't fixed? I've just run into it in Ext 5.1.1. It's been over half a year now...
