Thread: Horizontal scroll doesn't appear on Grid Reconfigure for empty Store (in FF & Chrome)

    Success! Looks like we've fixed this one. According to our records the fix was applied for EXTJS-14084 in 5.0.1.1255.

    Default Horizontal scroll doesn't appear on Grid Reconfigure for empty Store (in FF & Chrome)

    If a grid is reconfigured, and the store is empty, then the horizontal scroll doesn't appear if the total width of columns exceeds the view width.

    For instance, in the KitchenSink Reconfigure Grid example, if I modify the code in this file -
    Code:
    /examples/kitchensink/app/view/grid/Reconfigure.js
    as follows -

    PHP Code:
    // grid.reconfigure(this.createEmployeeStore(), [{
    grid.reconfigure([], [{
    then if I extend the width of the columns (either programmatically or manually), the horizontal scrollbar doesn't appear.

    This issue seems to be only if Firefox and Chrome, but not in IE or Opera.

    Here's an example screenshot of the bug (Chrome) -

    Whereas, what I expect is this (IE) -

    Is there an override I can put to overcome this bug?
