    Default Append Listener Not Fired

    please see this fiddle:

    I have defined an append listener, but it is never fired:
                listeners: {
                    append: function(parent, node, index, options) {
                        alert('why not show?');
    Can you please tell me if it is a bug?

    Forgot to mention that it works perfectly fine with 4.2.1 (you can see in the fiddle).

    OK, can someone please confirm if this is a bug??? The alert is never triggered. Just a plain yes or no should be sufficient.

    Default I have the same issue with extjs5 and this was working perfectly with 4.2.2

    In fact many things doesn't work with extjs5 ... in fact 5 looks like a beta release

    I hope they will fix this soon since I am now stucking with extjs 4 exaclty because this and one other bug and I cannot upgrade to version 5.

    same here. i've tried append, beforeapend, expand none of them works. i'm trying to miggrate my app from 4.2 version and that is sad that not only documentation of changes is poor but things that used to work doesn't work anymore...
