Default Using ext in combination with wicket

We are using the ext scheduler (bryntum) component in a wicket environment.
We have an application framework that has quite some generic handling, such as error handling and showing dialogs based on some business information.

For the CRUD actions that we perform on our ext scheduler component, we want to use these generic features, so we don't want to build this logic again using ext js.
That would mean, that when a CRUD request is done, the web server should be in control and be able to handle the request, including some user interaction using our generic (wicket) dialogs.
When the server side is done, it should return the response using the callback that ext provided.

Does anyone know if this is possible and how this could be accomplished?
