    I wondered if someone has tested the Ext JS REST (out of the box) proxy against the Fierbase

    Straight out of the box, I think the generated URLs would be a bit different. For example, take a PUT. Firebase expects the URL in this format:

    Code:
    https://SampleChat.firebaseIO-demo.com/users/jack/name.json
    The Ext JS Rest Proxy, by default, would probably generate something like this, assuming your endpoint was "users/name":

    Code:
    https://SampleChat.firebaseIO-demo.com/users/name/jack.json
    // or some other id, e.g., 1234.json
    That being said, you can easily create a custom proxy that extends Rest and implement your own buildUrl() method to stitch together the endpoint url in whatever structure is required.

    From what is see from the REST proxy I believe it may work but no time to test now, maybe someone else already tried.
