Is the column config a part of an EditorGrid?

I'm able to confirm the issue as well. It looks like it was fixed by 3.3.3 and works as expected in 3.4.1. Upgrading to 3.4 should get you going there.

Default ExtJs3.2.1+ IE9 = Object doesn't support property or method 'createContextualFragment

Actually i am not required to upgrade the version.
Is there any workaround or can i go ahead and change few lines in extjs-all-debug.js..

I don't have a workaround, but you can make an override if you like.
