    Default [4.2.0 RC] Direct2DBug=false helps improve performance but causes issue with IE/Msg

    REQUIRED INFORMATION

    Ext version tested:
    • Ext 4.2.0 RC

    Browser versions tested against:
    • IE9 - fail
    • IE7 - fail
    • IE8 - pass
    • Chrome - pass
    • FireFox - pass

    DOCTYPE tested against:
    • <!DOCTYPE html>

    Description:
    • It becomes a common advice to improve performance in IE9 setting up Direct2DBug, as here. And it helps a lot. But it leads to other issues:
    • IE9: issue with wrapping text in a MessageBox, see the screenshot
    • IE7: the browsers hangs for a while (about 5 seconds) before showing a MessageBox.
    • Well, maybe, it is the Direct2DBug's destination to fix the issues, I don't know. Anyway, any comments would be appreciated.

    Steps to reproduce the problem:
    • Just to run the sample in IE9 and IE7

    The result that was expected:
    • IE9 shows the text in the MessageBox as other browsers do.
    • IE7 doesn't hang

    The result that occurs instead:
    • IE9 wraps the text making it partially invisible
    • IE7 hangs before showing the MessageBox

    Test Case:

    Code:
    <!DOCTYPE html>
    <html>
    <head>
        <title>Direct2DBug=false helps improve performance but causes issue with Msg</title>

        <link rel="stylesheet" href="../resources/css/ext-all.css" />

        <script src="../ext-all-debug.js"></script>

        <script>
            Ext.supports.Direct2DBug = false;

            Ext.onReady(function () {
                Ext.MessageBox.confirm('TItle', 'Are you sure you want to log out?');
            });
        </script>
    </head>
    <body>

    </body>
    </html>
    HELPFUL INFORMATION

    This is still an issue down the path to ExtJS 6.5.1.
