Dynamically jump to perticular row in grid panel

I am using grid panel in my application.
I want to jump my scroll position to a particular row dynamically based on some event.

As a input i am getting column value and i want to jump my scroll position to a row which have that column value as content.

Are there any method or way by which we can do that ?

BTW, this works but not as expected. It scrolls down/up to a particular row but doesn’t show up row as first row in the screen.

It scrolls down/up shortest distance from current position.

In our case we want to show that as first row. PFA
