Default markInvalid() not working on Password field

    Hi,

I have run into a problem with the markInvalid() method (using ExtJS 4.1 and FF 16.0.1) when applied to a password field. The field is part of a larger form. Validation using markInvalid() works as expected on all fields except for the password field. The field is defined like this:

    Code:
                        xtype: 'textfield',
                               name:'Password',
                                fieldLabel: text['LabelPasswort'],
                                inputType: 'password',
                                width: 480,
                                labelWidth: 200,
                                labelPad: 10,
                                style: 'margin:5px',
                                fieldStyle:'width:260px',
                                maxLength: 50,
                                maxLengthText: text['TextTooLong']
Processing simply stops when the markInvalid() method is called on this field, after it has been determined that the field value is not valid. When I enter a valid value, the form works fine. What is more, this error only occurs on Firefox, but not on Internet Explorer. On IE, the validation works ok.

Does anyone know what the problem might be? Could this be a (known?) bug?

    Cheers,

    Martin
