Thread: Windows vs. Unix newlines

Looks like we can't reproduce the issue or there's a problem in the test case provided.

    Default Windows vs. Unix newlines

It seems that Sencha Cmd always uses Unix-style newlines (LF) for commands like sencha compile metadata, even when run on Windows machines. Is there any option to generate this data with Windows newlines (CRLF) instead? Concatenating the Unix-newline metadata with our Windows-newline source files results in mixed-newline files that cause "inconsistent line ending" issues when committed to our SVN repository.

I've noticed this but didn't find it in Jira so I've opened this as a ticket. Thanks!

So what was the resolution here? I'm on Windows, but mostly use tools like cgywin. Is there any way to have Sencha Cmd generate files with LF when on a Windows machine?
