    Default Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'dom' of null

    I am getting this error:
    Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'dom' of null
    when I hit the back button to return to a list. I originally had autodestroy set to false, but then set it to true, because of the lists below these records where not getting the correct record if you went back to the beginning.

    Now I have autodetroy to true and get this error. The back buttons on the sub lists work fine, and no errors.

    Any ideas? I am using sencha touch 2.0

    Thanks,
    Mark

    This error usually means you are trying to render to a invalid div.

    if that was the case, I would think that the autoDestroy: false, would produce the same error, but I will check.

    The error is occurring in the container.js file in the addlistitem function.

    Since the autodestroy is set on this, it should only be destroying children and not this list.

    Hi,

    I am using picker in sencha touch.

    when I try to do Ext.Viewport.remove(picker, true);
    it throws Cannot read property 'dom' of null error in Container.js

    I found one solution for it
    use defer to execute your code. as it is trying to run code after destroying picker list.

    Thanks,
    Piyush Dholariya
