    In 1.3 we introduced the Android support mode option (for 2.x android) when creating new projects, which basically disables scaling/rotation/skewing since there are several bugs on Android causing issue rendering advanced transforms.

    If you start a regular project and apply advanced transformations, it will often not work correctly on Android, due to the Android bugs.

    Here is a workaround that you could try if you wanted. You basically can tell the image to take on the size of the parent container. One way of doing this is to add a css class (e.g. "image-class") to the css class field for the base state of the object in animator. Then you could add some external css from the projects properties -> includes -> External CSS and add a css file with css like this:

    .image-class > div  {
        height: 100%;
        width: 100%;
    .image-class > div > img {
        height: 100% !important;
        width: 100% !important;
    It wouldn't preview correctly inside Animator, but on export should take on the size of the image object in Animator.
