Ok, I've been searching and looking and experimenting....and I'm stuck!

I have a Modal Window and a small Panel which starts out collapsed. After you press a button on the window, the panel expands, waits 5 seconds, then collapses. I'd like to show the panel above the modal mask.

The reason I don't put the Panel inside the window (my first choice) is because I can't get the window to expand and contract with the panel (animated). I got this "sort of" working using the on("beforeexpand") and on("collapse") events, but it was kludgey.

Any help would be appreciated!
