    Default Answered: CSS Overriding doesn't work in IE

    Hi,

    Overriding Ext CSS file affects all browsers except IE.
    For example I override Panel Header like this:
    Code:
    .x-panel-header-default-framed-top
    {
            -moz-box-shadow: none !important;
            -webkit-box-shadow: none !important;
            box-shadow: none !important;
            background: none #eee !important;
            border: none !important;
            border-bottom: solid 1px #ccc !important;
            -moz-border-radius: 0 !important;
            -webkit-border-radius: 0 !important;
            border-radius: 0 !important;
            padding: 5px 4px 3px 4px;
    }
    HTML File:
    Code:
    <link href="ext/resources/css/ext-all.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">
    <link href="styles/mycss.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">
    I think overriding radius, box-shadow and background-image doesn't affect in IE.
    I have tested this with IE9 (Windows 7 64bit).

    Any help would be appreciated.

  2. You should inspect the DOM. Is the border radius being used or is there an image there?

    Thank you mitchellsimoens,
    You are right.

    I forgot that we have to work triple time on IE.
    I hate this IE. I don't know if it is not the default windows browser, who uses it anyway?

    Thank you.

    IE10 looks promising but IE9 and before just needs to die. Chrome and even Firefox is much better.

    Windows 8 isn't out yet, hopefully Windows 7 will get IE10. Businesses will take a long time to switch, IE6 is still the majority in the business world but they are starting to upgrade.

    My stats indicate over 90% of my users are still on IE.
    After twelve years I have just stopped supporting all versions.
    We have a "NO IE": policy.
    It has been accepted surprisingly well.
    Somebody has an issue, they get our standard reply, fifteen minutes later they are back on site using Chrome.
