Default Answered: Controller handling in sencha 2 ?

    Hi everybody,

After having worked with sencha 1.x and started using sencha 2.x, the new way the controller classes are managed is a little bit confusing.

I want to dispatch something from a view to a controller. The event is not associated to a displayed widget, I mean, the event should be dispatched when a condition is true. The problem is that in the sencha2 version Ext.dispatch is deprecated. So, my question is what's the sencha-way to do so? or which's the replace for Ext.dispatch (version 1.x) in the version 2?

    TIA,

  2. You should use fireEvent to fire events on the view which are then listenable in the controller.
