    Default Multi-Tab app, how do deal with the LoadMask

    I have 5 tabs in the app, 3 of which use a LoadMask while their data loads. However the LoadMask doesn't prevent anyone from picking a different tab while the loading is happening.

    What is the right way to go about making the LoadMask go away/hide when they change tabs? I guess the background processes could continue without hurting anything, but since the Z-Order of the LoadMask is > than the surrounding tabs, it looks really bad.

    I'm wondering what approach to take with this.

    Try to use mask() and unmask() to mask/unmask your whole tabpanel.
    Code:
    <tabpanel>.getEl().mask('Loading data....');
    ....
    ....
    <tabpanel>.getEl().unmask();
