    Default need help basic dialog and overflow

    Hello

    I have made a basicdialog which contains 2 div. i would like the first do not scroll ( it is a search div ) and the second to scroll ( it is the result div ).

    I have try to put overflow auto for the second but i does nothing. the entire dialog scroll. how can i do?

    Here my code.

    Code:
    <div id="geocoder">
    			<div class="ydlg-hd"></div>
    			<div class="ydlg-bd">
    				<div id="geocoderSearch">
    					<input type="text" id="txtGeocoder"/>

    					<input type="checkbox" id="motExact"/><label>Mot exact</label>
    				</div>
    				<div id="geocoderResult">
    				</div>
    			</div>
    		</div>

    #geocoderResult
    {
    	overflow : auto;
    	height : 320px;
    }
    Thanks

    What's the dialog height? If it's less than 320 + rest of the element height's, is gonna scroll.

    Hi Tim.

    No it don't.

    The height of the dialog is 400px because of the header and the search div "geocoderSearch".

    But in this case, the scroll is on the "ydlg-bd" div instead of the "geocoderResult" div then it to long.

    So, i'd like to disable scrolling on "ydlg-bd" to get it on "geocoderResult".

    Thanks

    Alex

    I have that exact kind of dialog and it's working fine for me with overflow:auto on the 2nd div. Take a look at the html in firebug and see that you css is being applied correctly.
