Default Can you tell proxies to write parameters in urls?

I'm using php and mod rewrite. A url for fetching dataobjects can look like this:

localhost/Cars/Get/1 (Get car with id 1) or
localhost/Cars/Get/Set/2/25 (Get second set of cars in quantities of 25(paging))
    etc...

Is it possible to get my store to understand this logic?

Isn't that a RESTful URL? Try the REST proxy:

If you can't get it to work with a RESTful proxy, perhaps this extension could help you?

If you end up using it then please let me know if you have any feedback. At some point I intend to tidy it up and publish it as a proper UX.
