Thread: No horizontal scrollbar for Panel with big content

    Success! Looks like we've fixed this one. According to our records the fix was applied for EXTJS-4194 in a recent build.

    Default No horizontal scrollbar for Panel with big content

    REQUIRED INFORMATION


    Ext version tested:
    • Ext 4.0.2a


    Browser versions tested against:
    • IE9
    • FF7
    • Chrome 14


    DOCTYPE tested against:
    • <!DOCTYPE html>


    Description:
    • Adding multiple grids (or other Components) to a Panel with hbox-Layout won't show a horizontal scrollbar (even if autoScroll=true)


    Steps to reproduce the problem:


    The result that was expected:
    • Panel shows a scrollbar for horizontal scrolling


    The result that occurs instead:
    • No scrollbar appears
    • setting x-overflow:scroll via css will show a scrollbar, but the height of the children is calculated wrong

    I added an "overflow" css-property as hotfix, but it's not perfect.
